FAQ

What is the m-pack?

This innovative flat vial holds many types of solids, slides open to dispense easily, and meets current safety and stability requirements—including a certified child-resistant cap and tamper-evident labels.

Who owns the m-pack?

Juno Technologies LLC is a U.S. Veteran-Owned Small Business. All of our products are made in the U.S. You can read more on our About page.

Why is the m-pack rectangular instead of round?

We designed the m-pack to take up less space than round vials of the same capacity, to be stackable and rackable, and to fit on shelves more easily.

Is the m-pack patented?

Yes, all of our products are protected with multiple U.S. design and utility patents. The full list is on our Patents page.

What size is the m-pack?

There are three sizes: Regular, Tall, and Slim. You can learn more about them on our Sizes page.

What is the m-pack made from? Is it recyclable?

All of our products are made from 100% recyclable plastic, in order to meet standards for safe, durable medication containers. You can learn more on our Efficiency page.

Is the m-pack suitable for liquids?

No. The m-pack holds solids, not liquids.

How does the m-pack open?

Hold the base with one hand, and gently press both tabs on the sides of the cap. While pressing the tabs, slide the cap upwards. Now you can easily dispense contents from the side opening.

To close, push the cap down until it clicks, then check to make sure you have engaged both of the child-resistant latches.

Does the cap come off completely, or does it stay attached?

We offer two designs: one that lets you take the cap off completely after the child-resistant latches are opened, and another version with additional safety catches. This extra feature allows the cap to slide up but not all the way off. Both versions are certified child-resistant.

What are the advantages of the "easy off" version of the cap?

The "easy off" cap works especially well when the contents are bulky or sticky, like soft gel capsules or gummy vitamins. For most other types of solids—including pills, tablets, and capsules—we recommend the standard m-pack that includes the additional safety catches.

For the normal m-pack, can the end user still bypass the extra safety catches and pull the cap off completely? If they do this, will the cap go back on again?

Once the m-pack is open, the end user can pull upward to release the cap from the additional safety catches and take the cap all the way off. To put the cap back on, gently push it back down onto the base. The cap will latch shut and continue functioning normally.

What colors of m-pack do you offer?

You can learn about our color options on our Colors page.

I need a different size of m-pack. Do you offer custom sizing?

Feel free to get in touch with us directly so we can address your needs.

How much label space does the m-pack have?

Compared to a conventional round vial of the same capacity, the m-pack offers about 80% more usable label area. All m-pack products also have label space across the top of the cap, which lets you see individual product information easily, even in crowded storage shelves or racks.

Do all m-pack products work with a tamper-evident label?

Yes. All of our products have space for a tamper-evident label, on one or both sides of the m-pack.

Can you imprint my company's logo or brand name into the m-pack?

Yes, we can imprint your logo or brand name directly into the plastic during the manufacturing process. Feel free to get in touch with us about custom orders.

Does the m-pack work inside vending machines?

Yes, most vending machines can dispense m-packs. Please contact us for more information.

Can any m-packs be mailed in flat mailing envelopes?

Yes. We designed the Slim size m-pack for easy shipping in flat mailing envelopes and mailers. Several m-packs can fit into one package.

Does the m-pack save resources in shipping/transportation?

Yes. The m-pack takes up about 30% less space than conventional round vials with the same capacity.
